Your home schooler needs to take certain extra events when in view of colleges that a habitual high schooler wouldn't have to worry about.
- Find 'home school friendly' colleges
- Make note of and have your child take all pre-requisites courses
- Stay on top of deadlines
- Get recommendations
- Get a college degree interview
Don't count on a college patient a letter of proposal from you, even though you might be your child's teacher. In this case, it's important for your child to have a good relationship with a trusted adult-a sports coach, a club leader, a boss, etc. Essentially anyone who knows your student well is fair game.
